T. Brent Gammon
Mr.
Gammon is a native of Danville, VA, and he received Bachelor degrees
in both Political Science and History at Hampden-Sydney College
located in the State of Virginia. Mr. Gammon went on to earn a law
degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL, in
2007 and graduated cum laude and in the top 10% of his class. Upon
graduation and completion of the Florida Bar Exam, Mr. Gammon
accepted a position at the Office of the State Attorney, Seventh
Judicial Circuit in Volusia County that same year. Starting in the
misdemeanor division, Mr. Gammon prosecuted literally hundreds of
DUI and other misdemeanor cases.
After becoming a senior misdemeanor prosecutor, Mr. Gammon was
promoted to the felony division. During his time as a felony
prosecutor, he handled almost every type case, such as DUI with
Serious Bodily Injury, Drug Offenses, White Collar Crime, and
Attempted Murder. He was ultimately responsible for all stages of
the prosecution from the filing of charges through jury trial.
During his time as a felony and misdemeanor prosecutor, Mr. Gammon
had the reputation of always being ready to take a case to trial.
Following nearly three years as a prosecutor and gaining extensive
criminal trial experience, Mr. Gammon joined the Whited Law Firm in
